The objectives of the course are enable delegates to:

Have an understanding of responsibilities under current relevant legislation.

Be able to understand the various types of Abrasive Wheels.

Carry out pre-use inspection.

• Types and functions of Wheels and Discs,
• Selection, testing, mounting and storage,
• Personal Protective Equipment Care, Maintenance, Transport, Handling and Storage.

Training Method

Highly participative with practical demonstrations highlighted by use of PowerPoint and Videos along with group and individual exercises.

CERTIFICATION

Theory and test paper resulting in a certificate of attendance.
